Privacy Policy
OzDiscountFinder is a static website. The short version: we don't collect personal information. The longer version is below.
Last updated: April 2026
What we collect
Nothing personal. OzDiscountFinder is a static site. We don’t ask for your name, email, address, or anything else. There’s no account system, no newsletter sign-up that mines your inbox, no hidden tracking pixels.
What our hosting provider sees
We’re hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare sees standard request data when you visit:
- Your IP address (used for routing requests and basic abuse protection)
- Your browser type and operating system (User-Agent header)
- The page you requested and the time of the request
This data is held by Cloudflare under their privacy policy. We don’t access it ourselves except in aggregate for site performance metrics.
Cookies
We don’t set any cookies of our own. Cloudflare may set technical cookies for security and load-balancing — those don’t track you across sites.
Outbound links to retailers
When you click “Get Code” or “Get Deal” on any of our coupon cards, you leave OzDiscountFinder and go to the retailer’s website. What happens there is governed by the retailer’s privacy policy, not ours. We use affiliate tracking parameters on outbound links (rel="sponsored" is set on every one) so the retailer can credit your purchase to us — that’s how we keep the lights on.
If you don’t want affiliate tracking, you can copy the retailer’s URL, open it in a new tab without the affiliate parameter, and shop directly. The codes still work the same way.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or share data (we don’t have any to sell).
- We don’t run third-party advertising networks.
- We don’t use cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, or behavioural advertising.
- We don’t operate in any way that requires GDPR or Australian Privacy Act consent flows — because there’s no personal data to consent over.
Australian Privacy Act 1988
OzDiscountFinder operates from Australia. We don’t fall under the obligations of the Privacy Act because we’re below the small business turnover threshold and don’t collect personal information. If that ever changes, this page will be updated and we’ll notify visitors at the top of the homepage before any change takes effect.
